Entry to India requires a visa. It takes around 3 weeks to get it and the cost is 50 €, excluding postage fee.
One can either go directly to the embassy in Paris, send it by mail or go through a visa agency. I chose the latter, as it was the most convenient and I already used the services of visas-express for my visas to China.
